  • Real Estate refers to property. The property itself can have anything on it, in it or under it that is of value, and may affect someone else’s person or property in some way. Some examples of this are: a house; a pool; trees; office buildings; smokestacks; oil or water wells; a cell tower. Real estate law involves sales, rentals, liability, loans, liens, zoning laws and much more.
  • Criminal Defense has very little in common with what you see on television. A criminal lawyer can advise you on your chances at trial, and negotiate to get you the lowest penalty possible should you agree to a plea bargain.
  • Business Law, or Commercial Law is the understanding of the many laws and regulations involved in having a business. This can involve anything from land use to OSHA and Department of Labor standards.
  • Estate Planning combines the two certainties in life: death and taxes. While no lawyer can prevent death, having proper representation, and planning well, can mean your loved ones do not have to worry about your leaving financial burdens.
